Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Event

In honor of American Heart Month & Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Week, the Pi Psi Chapter of Sigma and the Nazareth University Student Nurses Association are proud to sponsor a panel discussion about Congenital Heart Defects/Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), a condition that affects approximately 1 in 100 babies annually. A medical team from the Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Cardiac Center will discuss how CHD affects a patient across the lifespan, and share the recent advances in CHD treatment. Join us to learn more about CHD and the amazing care that these medical professionals provide to improve the lives of their patients.
